    Make a profile that sounds like you

    Sign in with Google, add up to six photos, a bio of up to 500 characters, and say what you are looking for: long-term, dating or friends. Every photo is checked by a moderator before anyone sees it.

    Like, pass, and wait for the spark

    One card at a time, filtered by age, distance and who you want to meet. Distance only ever shows as roughly how far. When you both like each other, it is a spark and a conversation opens.

    Talk, then see each other on video

    Chat in real time with typing indicators and read receipts. When it feels right, switch to a video call in the browser, so the first date is with the person you have already met.

    Age confirmed

    Every member gives a date of birth at sign-up. Under 18 is refused and the account closed.

  2. Tier 1

    Photo verified

    A live selfie copying a random pose, compared with your photos by a moderator. Earns the badge and unlocks starting video calls.

  3. Tier 2

    ID verified

    A government ID plus a live selfie. The ID image is deleted within 24 hours of the decision. Required for Casual mode.

Copy-pasted openers, links in the first few messages, liking everyone in sight, photos reused across accounts: each one raises a risk score. Suspicious accounts must take a fresh selfie, get limited and reviewed, or are removed, and anyone who matched them sees a clear warning: never send money or move off Sparkline.

VIP Casual mode, kept separate on purpose

Some adults want something casual and want to say so plainly. VIP members with ID verification can switch on Casual mode: a second profile line, its own intent, and a discovery pool made only of other Casual members.

Casual profiles never appear in the regular deck, switching off hides yours instantly, and the same photo rules apply everywhere. Casual dating between consenting adults, nothing more.

Questions, answered

Is Sparkline really free?
Yes. Joining, building a profile, matching, chatting with your matches and accepting video calls cost nothing, and no card is asked for at sign-up. Free members get 25 likes a day.
Who can join?
Adults 18 and over. You sign in with Google and confirm your date of birth; anyone under 18 is refused and the account is closed.
How do video calls work?
Once you match, a Plus member with a photo-verified badge can start a call and anyone can accept it. Calls run peer-to-peer in your browser and are never recorded; we only keep the start and end time.
What is Casual mode?
An opt-in VIP setting for consenting adults looking for something casual. It needs ID verification, shows you only to other Casual members, never appears in the regular deck, and switching it off hides your Casual profile at once. Nudity is banned in every mode.
What happens to my ID photo?
A moderator checks it against a live selfie, then the image is deleted within 24 hours of the decision. Only the verdict, birth year, reviewer and date are kept.
How do you keep out bots and scammers?
Every account carries a risk score built from how it likes and messages. Suspicious accounts are asked for a fresh selfie, limited and reviewed by a moderator, or removed, and their matches see a warning in the conversation.
